About Us ::
Scitec-labs was formed and is driven by the need for height safety product testing of existing and new products. With a focus on testing evacuation, rescue and descender products for the international height safety markets.
Investment in data acquisition modules, load cells, salt spray chamber, European sharp edge rig, dynamic and static test rigs using weights and Torso’s (100 to 160 kg rigid and 100 kg articulating), together with bespoke test rigs for the descent products.
Scitec-labs, is able to perform compliance testing in accordance with EN, UKCA, CSA, AS/NZ or ANSI standards.

The test house can provide fast indications on new product development or verification for existing products.
All dynamic tests are routinely video recorded for analysis helping confirm a products ability or where modifications can be introduced for improvements. There exists an option to video static testing if required for engineers and designers to verify their products or observe the products under test for further improvement.
